Calcidan

Easy to use, modified Soaked Marble Lime paint/limewash for interior and exterior use.

BEECK Calcidan is a marble lime paint / limewash, slaked for many years, with good hiding power for interior and exterior lime-compatible substrates. Suitable substrates include absorbent brick, stucco, lime plaster, cement and other absorbent mineral substrates. Formulated for easy use and produces wipe-resistant, efficient limewash coats with hiding power and the best possible weather resistance. The chemical carbonation process produces a low-tension limewash coat with mold resistant properties due to its natural alkalinity. Calcidan produces the typical aesthetic properties of historic limewash. Reversible in the interests of historic landmark and listed building conservation. Does not form any vapor-barring thick covering layer, even after repeated renovation, and due to its unrestricted open-pored property, also does not "smother" historical air-lime plaster.

Calcidan is available in lime white.
Calcidan can be tinted with BEECK Full Color Lime Concentrates or with lime-compatible powdered pigments.

Consumption is approximately between 275-325 sq.ft. per gallon per coat. Try on a test area on site to determine substrate-related application rate differences and the number of coats required.
